Can I use my private health insurance?

Yes. We accept most private health funds and provide on-the-spot claiming via HICAPS. We also support Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plans,, which require a gap payment.

What can I expect at my first appointment?

Your initial visit includes a detailed consultation, hands-on assessment, and personalised management plan. We focus on understanding your body, your goals, and the best strategies to achieve lasting results.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is required to see an osteopath at MyHealth Co. You can book directly with our clinic for assessment and treatment.

However, if you wish to claim a Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan rebate, you will need a referral from your GP. Our team can guide you through this process.

Do you treat Pilates-related pain?

Yes. Being located inside KX Pilates Glen Waverley, we frequently work with clients who are active in Pilates and other movement-based exercises. We perform movement assessments to identify the cause of pain or discomfort and develop a personalised rehabilitation plan that integrates hands-on treatment, tailored exercises, and lifestyle advice to help you move better and prevent future injuries.

How long are your appointments?

First appointments typically last up to 60 minutes, allowing time for a thorough consultation, movement assessment, and hands-on treatment. Follow-up sessions are up to 40 minutes, focusing on ongoing treatment, rehabilitation exercises, and progress reviews. Appointments are personalised to your needs, ensuring you get the right care for your condition
